at the grave registration, he lost his
life on the same day as a number of
his comrades, probably do to a shell
hit on their trench.
He is buried at Honnechy British
Cemetery. This was a British
Ambulance Centre after the areas
was re-captured in early October 1918 so John may have been taken there
as a casualty initially.
His name is also on the church memorial at Edmonsthorpe (above).
